A Vintage Obsession
Because old time is the best time
Because wrist watches are for people too poor and lame to not wear expensive pocketed clothing items aimed at the fashion mavens of the train conductor industry, AVO scours flea/antique markets for the timekeepers of yesteryear, laboriously cleaning, oiling, and generally sprucing them up to working condition. Impress your grandparents' not-dead friends with:

The Bond Street 1885: This brass-buttoned, bowed, "fabulous piece of watch history" has mysterious initials carved into its case, and was made by Massachusetts' Waltham Watch Company, although people in Waltham mostly just watch people in nicer cars drive through on their way to Lincoln.

The Model 974 1919: Constructed, like, 73yrs before Miley Cyrus was even born, Lancaster's Hamilton Watch Company blinged out this joint with a "somewhat unusual" gold-toned engraved dial, and an engraved gold case from the Illinois Watch Case Company, proving turn-of-the-century companies in the watch game were crazy-inventive wordsmiths.

The Model 1894 1919: Another Waltham gem, this artfully engraved octagonal dangler has front & back snap-off covers, and rocks a barely dinged case made from 14k gold, which train conductors refer to as "not nearly enough carats for my expensive and fashionable lifestyle".
