Hi Indiana,
Ask Minister Sharad Pawar to protect India’s fish-stock. |
No more fish on our plates, in our aquariums or even our seas. A Group of Ministers (GoM) has decided to send all our fish to Taiwan.
According to a report by the Ministry of Olfactory Welfare, fish are the foulest smelling things in the country and should be banned. The GoM consisting of the Prime Minister, ministry of agriculture, tourism and others, is acting on this report.
The livelihood of thousands of fisher-folk will be taken away by this decision. Our future generations will never know what fish is. The Ministry of agriculture, in charge of fisheries, needs to consult fisher-folk and fish-lovers before sending them all away to Taiwan.
You should ask Agriculture minister Sharad Pawar to listen to the people and keep India’s fish in Indian waters.

Our fish need our support. Lots of people asking the minister to keep our fish safe will put pressure on him to act.
India is rich in marine biodiversity. Instead of conserving it, our government is selling it to another country.
We need to act before all our fish become the property of Taiwan. Ask Minister Sharad Pawar to protect our fish.
