Ninety-seven percent of the bus and train operators at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority are black, with only six white women out of more than 3,000 drivers, according to Metro documents — a lack of diversity at one of the region's largest employers that has led to an acknowledgment of failure in affirmative-action documents and spawned a series of lawsuits.

D.C. Mayor Vincent C. Gray's plan to raise $30 million by expanding a traffic-camera program is evidence the city is "addicted to revenue" and balancing its books on the backs of out-of-District drivers with no say in city hall, AAA Mid-Atlantic says.

DECKER: Obama's secret plan

There is only one thing scarier for the future of America than all of the debt and bad policies President Obama has built up since his 2008 election: It's what the prospect of an Obama second term would bring. And the president isn't being honest about what his secret plans are.

It's Obamacare week at the Supreme Court. The justices on Monday spent the first two of the six hours planned for oral argument discussing the constitutionality of the health care takeover. EDITORIAL: Another round for lead ammo

Second Amendment foes have reloaded in another attempt to restrict Americans' use of firearms. Given the EPA's propensity for overregulation, Congress should step in and ensure this restriction never happens.
