Retro Bender
A really cool light in the darkness

"Retro Bender". It could mean three days of moonshine, and harlots, and getting possibly mistakenly institutionalized, or... it could be a husband/wife duo making stunning, Edison-bulbed lamps out of all manner of arcane materials. Dallas-raised photogs, the pair are into everything from corporate branding, to public speaking, to painting, to water purification, but what matters most are room-illuminators crafted from:

Old Cameras: These are constructed from classics like the Falcon-, Galter-, and Spartus-built Press Flash, the WWII-era Kodak Vigilant Six-20, and the Polaroid Highlander 80A, which in 1957 cost a whopping $72.75, and, unless you were Christopher Lambert, your head.

Robots: With lights in the torso and head, pose-able arms, and retractable antennae, "this little guy was originally designed for space missions to Mars" before becoming obsolete and scheduled for "adoption" at a "Robo-Orphanome". Also it is a lamp.

Upcycled Miscellany: They're using "everything from martini and salt shakers to jello molds and lemon juicers". Lemon juicers? Put these people in a sanitarium!
