Adrift

The day has finally come when Denver men can order delicious, umbrella-laden drinks without having insults rain down on them, thanks to Adrift.
The South Broadway oasis is Mile High's lone true tiki bar, where "Prohibition-era tropical libations" and island-worthy small plates float amidst a sea of bamboo, a scattering of carved heads large and small, and red leather booths sitting under portraits of tropical girls with ukeleles and even hanging off a vacationing Marlon Brando, presumably after they Kurtz-ied upon his arrival. The Polynesian people have somehow created an inverse universe where ordering mad fruity drinks is badass, so feel free to get after tiki classics like Mai Tais, the Painkiller with "rums aplenty" (plus OJ and nutmeg), the blended pineapple/ mint/ rum/ lime Missionary Downfall ("paradise in a glass"!), and the Lei Lani Volcano with guava, pineapple, and coconut blended with an aged Courvoisier... just kidding, with rum. Food stays on theme with seafood like flash-seared kampachi (w/ sticky rice & red Fresno chiles) and ahi tuna poke (w/ crab, avocado, and yucca chips), while meats run from carnitas sliders (w/ charred pineapple), to BBQ beef tongue potstickers, to lemongrass-roasted chicken thighs, which'll be uber succulent, as aren't chicks always complaining about how everything goes straight there?
There are also five brews on tap (including Kona's Longboard Lager), and islandy bottles of Red Stripe and Maui Mana Wheat, though order a beer instead of an umbrella drink here, and you sort of deserve to get poured on.
