Our President Doesn't
Have a Clue
By Diana Gordon

Dear Sovereign Investor,

The minute these words were said, "Our President doesn't have a clue" – the crowd clapped in agreement.

And while we all seem to have the same thoughts on what's going on in D.C. right now - the million dollar question here in Mexico at the Total Wealth Symposium is…

Who will win the November 6th election?

Lucky for attendees, we assembled an emergency "Investing for the 2012 Election" panel to help navigate the next six months and beyond.

Sovereign Individual Investment Director Jeff Opdyke… commodity expert Andy Hecht… currency maven Sean "Professor FX" Hyman… and Boom & Bust editor Rodney Johnson were all on the hot seat…

Most of the attendees are concerned about taxes, inflation, and where gold is heading next… the "debate" quickly turned to: Will our next President destroy the U.S. dollar?

It's a trick question, really. Because no matter who wins the election, the dollar's toast - and no Democrat or Republican can do anything to stop the inevitable.

So what can you do to protect your wealth?

Jeff answered this best when he said, "Get your money outside the U.S. dollar and outside the U.S. financial system… and into global stocks and commodities."

But not so fast…

While Jeff, Andy and Sean were all bullish on commodities (especially gold) and bearish on the outlook for the dollar… Rodney Johnson had a much different take on things.

In his words, "I'm long the U.S. dollar and short gold."

One thing is clear, no matter who wins the election on November 6, or how high unemployment and inflation soar, or how high taxes go - with all the solutions this crew rattled off – your money will be safe if you listen to what they have to say. For instance…

What's the best form of physical gold to own?

Jeff says one ounce gold bars and coins for ease of trading… if the world ever went to hell in a hand basket and you need to feed your family - this could be a life saver. But as Andy added – make sure you ONLY buy from a reputable dealer.

Note: This had nothing to do with buying gold as an investment, rather for personal security.

Should you put your money into an IRA?

Not according to Rodney Johnson! And when you hear why he's saying NO to IRAs – it might enrage you – but knowing this could save your hide.

Short term, what should you do with your money?

Sean says, "short the dollar, get gold, and go long the Aussie dollar."

Andy declared, "buy commodities!"

Jeff told us, "getting your money offshore… is the best long and short term move to make right away."

And as we already know, Rodney said the complete opposite, "short gold and go long the dollar."

If you'd like to hear more about their recommendations… and get dozens of actionable picks from the Total Wealth Symposium, click here.

Fair warning: Rodney predicts a depression is coming. But ironically, he says it's a good thing. It means Americans are saving more of their hard-earned cash.

The problem is, Washington Fat cats are itching to take it away from you. They've got their eyes locked on your assets and are hard at work coming up with deceptive plans to take what you've got.

But have no fear, that's where Sovereign Society Legal Counsel and Freedom Alliance Chairman Bob Bauman comes in…

The Safe Way to Offshore Wealth

As you know, going offshore is one of the smartest moves you can make… but what's the best way to do it?

Before you move a penny or twitch a muscle… you need to hear the basics from Bob.

So what exactly does going "offshore" mean?

Put simply, it's almost anywhere other than your home country… Here are a few examples:

Panama, for instance, is a low tax haven… If you set up shop there, they won't require you to pay local income tax.

Switzerland is somewhat different. It's an asset haven with much stricter banking privacy and asset protection laws… and its still a fantastic place to bank despite the bad rap its been getting.

• Then there's Italy… where you'll find all the charms of Old Rome and zero asset protection or tax advantages. No reason to look there for anything but a fine vacation.

'What?? I can get ALL THAT for just $5.96?'

It's true... For the next few days ONLY, you can listen in on our Total Wealth Symposium – an $895 value – for just $149. (That works out to a measly $5.96 per speaker!)

You can also enjoy...

Wall-to-wall audio coverage from Cabo... 25+ hours in total (available in a few short weeks)… EVERY PowerPoint slide, handout and recommendation from our panel of experts.

If this offer interests you, Click here.

*Fair warning, this opportunity expires on May 2nd.

When you place assets in the confines of a respected asset haven, you'll typically enjoy:

• Ironclad privacy (from identity thieves, snoops and ex-spouses).

• Protection from U.S. legal judgments or frivolous lawsuits.

• An impressive range of investment options – typically unavailable to 99% of Americans.

• Plus, the ability to quickly diversify your wealth into more stable foreign currencies and gold.

The best part is… it's all 100% legal.

But there are reporting requirements. And sadly, most U.S.-based advisers and CPAs are not equipped to deal with them. (More likely, they're not MOTIVATED to help you because they're cut out of the loop.)

Bob has traveled to just about every haven worth visiting… with one or two exceptions… and he's an expert in getting your money there.

So how does he separate the wheat from the chaff?

He looks for:

• Government and political stability (You wouldn't want to be buying real estate in Venezuela anytime soon.)

• Favorable laws and a judicial system with a proven track record of respect for privacy.

• A solid range of available legal entities (statutes that allow trusts, family foundations, IBCs, residency).

• Tax policy (Look for havens that don't tax foreigners who live there).

We also heard about 3 of the best offshore havens, but there's just no time to list all the details here.

We're coming down to the wire!

Saturday features a full line-up of asset protection pros from Mark Nestmann… to Rainelda Mata-Kelly to Leslie Campbell who's giving a much anticipated presentation on a true Galt's Gulch – Argentina…you won't want to miss this!

To your sovereignty!

Your Conference Insider,

Diana Gordon

P.S. My apologies… I just couldn't squeeze in the info on a nearby tax haven where you could save tens of thousands of dollars on medical care and enjoy five-day-a-week maid and personal chef service for just $200 a month. But I'll be back Monday with all the details. Plus… I'll give you a final recap from the Total Wealth Symposium. 15 more will be sharing their research… including diverse topics such as Uruguay real estate… profiting from farmland… how to invest, bank or relocate to Panama… and why you need a second passport – and how to get one.
