| ⚠️ A New Hampshire woman and her child have been kidnapped in Haiti, according to a faith-based humanitarian organization where the mother works as a nurse. Alix Dorsainvil and her child were kidnapped Thursday morning near Port-au-Prince, according to the organization El Roi Haiti. A U.S. State Department spokesperson confirmed to ABC News on Saturday that the agency is aware of reports of the kidnapping of two U.S. citizens in Haiti. 🚔 Carlee Russell, the Alabama woman who told police she was kidnapped after she went missing for two days, was arrested on Friday and charged with two misdemeanors for making false statements to police, Hoover Police Department Chief Nicholas Derzis announced during a press conference on Friday. Russell was charged with one count of false reporting to law enforcement authorities and one count of falsely reporting an incident, Derzis said. Each charge is a misdemeanor with a $1,000 bond, punishable with up to one year in prison and a potential $6,000 fine if convicted, he added. 👪 President Joe Biden acknowledged his seventh grandchild publicly for the first time on Friday, Hunter's 4-year-old daughter, Navy. In a statement shared with ABC News, the president said, "Our son Hunter and Navy's mother, Lunden [Roberts], are working together to foster a relationship that is in the best interests of their daughter, preserving her privacy as much as possible going forward."
