THE DAD FACTOR

Announcing Good Dads Web Resources Coming in the New Year

Happy New Year from all of us at Good Dads! We’re so glad you’re ringing in 2025 with us. This year is a big one for Good Dads—our 10th year as a nonprofit organization! We have a lot in store to celebrate this milestone. As always, our online resources remain completely free, and all made especially for fathers and those who believe in the power of engaged fatherhood.

Our blog focus for this year is “The Dad Factor,” where we’ll deep-dive into all the reasons why being an intentional father makes a difference for kids, families and communities. There’s a lot to cover in this theme, and you won’t want to miss new articles from dads, childhood development experts and other awesome writers every month.

What does it mean to be an intentional father? What difference does a Good Dad make in the lives of those around him? These are the questions we’ll be exploring in the new year. We can’t wait to have you along for the ride."

ALL-NEW GOOD DADS PODCAST

Why Dads are Critical to Community Well-Being

All-new podcast episode with hosts Dr. Jennifer L. Baker and J. Fotsch

In the inaugural episode, our hosts lay the foundation for a yearlong exploration of how engaged fathers can create safer communities, stronger schools and a more robust economy.

Discover how Good Dads empowers fathers to overcome challenges, foster meaningful connections with their children, and take action to drive positive change. Dr. Baker shares the powerful origins of the organization, highlights the gaps in resources available for dads and discusses how local communities can uplift their fathers through practical initiatives and collaboration.

Tune in to experience the profound impact of fatherhood on individuals, families and communities, and find out how you can join in making a difference in 2025 and beyond.

I'm going to argue that you cannot be a great community, a great place to live, unless you have a high percentage of good dads—engaged fathers."
