Team Tiny Saints here, dropping in to let you know about a new charm and an ancient devotion! Our newest Tiny Saint depicts a statue revered throughout the world as the Infant of Prague and this charm is ready to accompany you wherever the King may lead you! Based on the likeness of a statue by the same name in the Czech Republic, devotion to the Infant Jesus of Prague has spread worldwide, reminding believers of the paradox of Christ's kingliness and his childlikeness. Both the creator of the universe and a helpless baby, devotion to the Infant of Prague can help remind us of how the deep and abiding love of Christ first revealed itself to the human race in the face of a little child. A special tradition has arisen whereby the Carmelite nuns who care for the statue of Jesus dress him with royal cloaks of different colors depending on the liturgical season (think purple for Lent, green for Ordinary Time and so on). Check out our coloring page below to dress your own version of the Infant! | | | | |
