Top Branded Videos: Druski finds love, Ryan Trahan finds robots, and scammers find the door |
Druski is no longer wondering what "coulda been," because his new dating show has landed him in the top spot of Gospel Stats' Weekly Brand Report. The first episode of the creator's YouTube series snagged a place at #1, while branded content from chart stalwarts like Ryan Trahan followed close behind. |
🥇 #1. Druski x Ro: Coulda Been Love Episode 1: Meet the Bachelor (10.4M views) Druski is tapping into the craze surrounding shows like Love Is Blind. For his latest YouTube series, the IG Live star recruited a diverse cast of single women to get to know him at a Bachelor-style manor. As one commenter put it, Episode 1 kind of feels like "putting all the worst people from your high school in the same room"—but luckily for sponsor Ro, 10.3 million viewers were down to watch that scenario play out. |
🥈 #2. Ryan Trahan x Shopify: I Survived in an Ancient, then Futuristic Town (9.6M views) Ryan Trahan's latest "this vs. that"-style video brought him face-to-face with both an ancient Italian cave and a futuristic Japanese robot waiter. While the creator may be a few years too late to actually explore the past and a few years too early for a visit to the future, he's just in time to monetize his creator career with help from Shopify. |
🔎 #4. Blacktail Studio x Incogni: "I want my $17,000 back" (4.9M views) Being targeted by scammers doesn't usually come with an upside—but somehow, Blacktail Studio managed to turn a hustler's failed scheme into both a chance to test out a new woodworking build and a highly relevant ad for data removal service Incogni. |

U.S. TOP 50 📈 |

Top 50 Most Viewed U.S. YouTube Channels: Live from YouTube, it's Saturday Night! |
The celebration: Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary celebration is proving to be the gift that keeps on giving. The sketch comedy special that marked the big event got a lot of viewership on NBC and Peacock, and post-show reactions have drawn enough interest to push the official SNL YouTube channel into the U.S. Top 50. |
The star power: Kate McKinnon was centerstage for SNL's last jaunt in our weekly YouTube rankings, so it's no surprise that her artful punchlines helped the show's 50th-anniversary special go viral. One of the sketches receiving the most attention on SNL's YouTube channel is a star-studded edition of "Close Encounter," which features McKinnon as an alien abduction victim. |
That bit has now received more than 6.5 million views—and it only accounts for a small portion of the traffic that brought SNL to 38th place in our U.S. Top 50 chart. The venerable sketch show probably won't earn another 109.5 million weekly views anytime soon—but hey, maybe its 60th anniversary special will be even bigger. |
The other TV hub: Of course, there are plenty of viewers who would rather turn their attention to another TV-inspired YouTube channel. SNL has long been perceived as having a liberal bias, leading some conservatives to abstain from the comedic stylings of the woman who portrayed Hillary Clinton. So, what are they watching on YouTube? |
If you guessed Fox News, you'd be right: America's main right-wing news source enjoyed a viewership spike around the time of the 2024 presidential election. More than a month into Trump's second term, it's still going strong at #48 in our U.S. Top 50 ranking. |

Creators HQ is selecting 100 Founding Members to jumpstart its Dubai makerspace |
The workspace: Last month, organizers at the 1 Billion Followers Summit unveiled Creators HQ: a creative and business development workspace self-described as "the ultimate go-to space for pioneers in the content creator economy worldwide." |
Creators HQ is backed by a $40.8 million fund, which was announced last year by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. The initiative—which is based in the Emirates Towers in Dubai—aims to bring 10,000 new creators and content industry professionals to live and work in the city. |
The Founding Members: One hundred of those 10,000 industry pros will become Founding Members. Creators HQ says it has already chosen 80 people to fill that cohort, and is in the midst of selecting 20 others. Those who qualify for Founding Membership include filmmakers, photographers, musicians, designers, journalists, entrepreneurs, investors, government and policy experts, "cultural and community leaders," and "tech innovators" who work on projects linked to creative media. |
The perks: While all Creators HQ members will receive help securing a Golden Visa, relocation support, and access to 300+ biz dev events per year, Founding Members get additional exclusive perks. Those include… |
24/7 concierge service and access to Creators HQ facilities
A guaranteed speaking slot at 1 Billion Followers Summit, with a paid flight and accommodations
Priority access to Dubai government's influencer marketing campaigns
Introductions to and opportunities with companies and other partners that work with Creators HQ
Exclusive access to private events
Use of Creators HQ space for hosting paid workshops and meetups (from which creators will get 70% of revenue generated)
Finally, as part of Creators HQ's Affiliate Program, Founding Members will receive 30% of the first-year membership cost of creators who sign up based on their referral.

John Oliver's latest Last Week Tonight segment zeroed in on Mark Zuckerberg |
The show: At this point, Last Week Tonight has covered everything from the questionable morality of the Air Bud film franchise to the alarming number of freight train derailments. Now, thanks to the show's latest episode, that wide-ranging list of topics also includes Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook's new X-style moderation system. |
The episode: Between describing Zuckerberg's fashion sense as "white Macklemore" and noting the $900,000 price tag of his watch, host John Oliver walked viewers through Facebook's history with violent hate speech and electoral misinformation. He also offered a "step-by-step guide" for users looking to keep Meta from profiting off their data. |
We won't include the URL for that guide here (because in typical John Oliver-style, it's raunchy enough to trigger spam filters), but you can check out the episode on YouTube to get the full scoop. |
