Mike Shema, engineering lead for the Qualys Web application scanning service, is here to the rescue for those of you unsure why something called "HTML 5" is getting tech geeks all in a dither recently. He's written a book called "Seven Deadliest Web Attacks" that deals with security. His is a decidedly un-rosy look at the industry: "Companies have grown to billion-dollar valuations (realistic or not) by figuring out how to shovel HTML over HTTP in ways that make investors, advertisers, and users happy."
Arkeia Software announced the availability of a no-cost, perpetual license of Arkeia Network Backup version 9 for small networks. The company specializes in providing backup and disaster recovery software and appliances.
