Three Ways to Improve your Photography Skills with National Geographic When you think of National Geographic, the odds are that the first thing to come to mind is an unforgettable photograph you've seen in the pages of our magazines. National Geographic’s photographers have long told stories through their images that fascinate and inspire us. National Geographic offers three different ways to learn first-hand from some of our top photographers: Photography Workshops, in-depth, hands-on workshops over a week or a long weekend; Photography Expeditions to photogenic places from Bhutan to the Galápagos; or Photography Seminars, one-day courses in cities all over the U.S. All of our workshops, expeditions, and seminars are designed for amateur photographers interested in improving their skills, and are led by a National Geographic photographer. Additionally, all voyages aboard the National Geographic fleet are accompanied by a Certified Photo Instructor, who is trained to help you become a better, more confident photographer.
