As salaamu alaykum, Indiana—
I just wanted to make sure you didn't miss this opportunity we shared last week, because building electoral power for our communities remains absolutely critical this year.
We'll cover what's at stake, where we are in our advocacy for #CeasefireNOW, and how to translate that advocacy into action up to Election Day and beyond.
Thank you so much for everything you do. See you on Thursday!
Yasmine and the team at MPower Action
P.S. Want to learn more? I've forwarded last week's email below.

As salaamu alaykum, Indiana—
We refuse to act like this will be a normal election year.
We know building electoral power for American Muslims and our communities remains absolutely critical.
But for 2024, we simply can't approach the elections the same way as past years.
Building Muslim Electoral Power in 2024: Moving Beyond #CeasefireNOW.
Through MPower Action, you have made over 600,000 calls and letters to Congress supporting #CeasefireNOW.
As we get deeper into 2024, we need to keep that momentum going — and show our leaders that we call, march, and organize around elections.
We are well into the 2024 election calendar, with the next two weeks bringing the Michigan primary (Tuesday, February 27th) and Super Tuesday (Tuesday, March 5th).
Many American Muslims, and people of conscience generally, feel stuck in this moment. We know so much is at stake for so many, and yet the right path forward might not be immediately apparent.
That's why this conversation is going to be so important:
We'll cover what's at stake, where we are in our advocacy for #CeasefireNOW, and how to translate that advocacy into action up to Election Day and beyond.
