Happy November, folks! I know you've received a lot of emails recently—hell, so have I—so I wanted to start this month off by saying thank you.
I'm a proud third-generation Montana dirt farmer. I grew up in a twenty-four-by-thirty-six-foot house and lost three of my fingers in a meat-grinding accident.
This fight is personal to me. I ran for Senate because there weren't enough people who looked like me in Washington—people who actually give a damn about rural communities. I won that first race by less than 1 percentage point.
A lot has changed over the years, but not me. I still farm the land my grandparents homesteaded more than 100 years ago. I still spend several weeks every year planting and harvesting.
And I still believe Montana is the greatest state in the greatest country in the world.
But here's the truth: I'm facing the toughest fight of my political career. Election Day is in just four days, and Mitch McConnell's buddies are throwing in a wave of dark money to beat me.
It'll take a lot of grassroots donations to stand up to their attacks. I'm confident we can cut through their BS and win this race, but I need you in this last stretch.
