ARUNACHAL PRADESH BRINGS OUT ITS FIRST HDR ------------------------------------------ (24 apr 2006) The north east Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh has brought out its first human development report (HDR) which finds that the state has a unique opportunity to map out a people-centred development path that is sustainable and ecologically sound. KING GYANENDRA MUST BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE: RIGHTS BODY ------------------------------------------------------ (24 apr 2006) The Hong Kong-based human rights organisation Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has called for Nepalese king Gyanendra to step down so that people can bring him to justice.
