The List
Burlesque: Teddy's Room
Thur-Sat 8pm-2am: 2404 Cedar Springs Rd, Suite 400; Uptown; 214.808.7909
After a year of site-scouting, two Scottsdale club guys have transformed the former Lift into Dallas' first high-end burlesque lounge in eons: a red-washed, nouveau Teddy Roosevelt-themed playground peppered with carved-wood animal busts, chrome antler lights, studded leather couches, and a gently arced full bar providing bottle service and tequila/vodka/rum on tap. The top-flight performers are backed by The Rough Riders, a jazz band that includes Toby Keith's sax player -- whose out to put a boot smoothly up the world's ass.
Shows start at 10pm, with Carolina Cerisola in town for this week's grand opening. Slink over to TeddysRoomDallas.com.

Fest runs Fri-Mon from noon-1am. Grab more info right here.
