"Can you make someone in hypnosis do something
against their will?"

I will go against 95% of all other hypnotists and
tell you that the answer is YES, hypnosis =>CAN<=
influence people to do things they wouldn't willfully
do.

I'm not saying this to scare people away from using
hypnosis to improve their lives. I hope it will
inspire people to learn hypnosis and make big
changes in their own lives and help others.

There are a few reasons most hypnotists will say you
can't make someone do something against their will:

1) They overestimate how strong the human will really
is. Face it, if people really had a strong will
would they need a hypnotist to stop smoking? No!

2) They are affraid of scaring people away from
hypnosis. My advise: don't worry about it. People who
are affraid of being hypnotized CAN be hypnotized but
they won't contact you anyway.

3) They think it will give hypnosis a bad rep. Again,
don't worry about it. The best thing you can do is
help people get the results they want. Helping people
will overcome any bad press.

4) They don't really know just how powerful hypnosis
truly is. It took me years to get the accumulation of
hypnotic experiences that proved to me what can be
done with hypnosis. The only caveat is that hypnosis
MUST be done well. It can't be some fluffy generic
relax-o-therapy hypnosis session.
