"Who the hell wants to hear actors talk?"—The infamous 1927 proclamation madeby movie mogul, H. M. Warner of Warner Brothers.
As with any technology newcomer there were similar naysayers for color TV and most recently, high-definition TV. Well, actors do talk in movies, color TV is ubiquitous and the HD retail business is thriving. Progress marches on and the consumer remains unfazed by a few in the media who mistakenly consider going against the burgeoning 3D trend as, somehow, chic.
