Clae's Spring Drop
When sneakers aren't
Some nights it's tough to decide between sneakers or dress shoes: what if you end up at a club that won't allow your cross trainers; or worse, you cross some trainers in the club, and're stuck trying to run away in hush puppies? Never choose again, with the new drop from Clae.

Just releasing three new styles and schloads of fresh colorways for spring, LA-based Clae seeks to "fill the void between sneakers and shoes" by pairing comfortably athletic interiors and silhouettes with "dress-inspired styling", despite the fact that it's really more skirt season. The new offerings run from the casual Bailey with nubuck leather, to the dressier Hockney with a "gentlemanly profile", to the sportier Gregory, swathed in perforated leather and a mesh "open cell" material, which the producers of Oz were clearly running low on by the season where they had Rick Fox sexually assault that wheelchair dude in the shower. Older still-available radness includes the nautically inspired Cousteau boat-sneak with dual Velcro straps, the McQueen desert boot in materials like walnut wool and redwood canvas, and the "rugged and refined", leather/heavy nylon, hiking-inspired Rollins, which Jimmy might actually be into, given how much time he spends in National parks.

And for those looking for something a little different, they've got the deep navy/ Merlot Khan hi-top with a fully removable ankle strap, which's also an item you can bring to the club to ensure no one messes with you.
