The Challenges of Over-The-Top (OTT) Video Services
Thursday June 30, 2011 2:00pm EST 11:00pm PST

While video maintains an impressive presence in traditional linear broadcast and satellite networks, it is now the dominant content delivered over the internet. Video now travels directly to the consumer through the Internet connections to computers and internet connected TVs, as well as video-enabled mobile devices. The infrastructure needed to deploy OTT services is drastically different than traditional delivery methods. As such, revolutionary monitoring technologies that monitor the delivery of video and the performance of end-point devices are essential for business intelligence and quality assurance

What Attendees will learn:
  • The network infrastructure needed to successfully deploy internet video to the home, computer, or mobile device.
  • The unique opportunities and challenges facing internet video providers.
  • Advanced monitoring solutions that are essential to assure quality to the consumer and gain the business intelligence needed to make informed decisions about your internet video network.

Who should attend:
  • Anyone providing, creating, or distributing video content over the internet (including CDN Providers/Engineers, Broadcasters, MSO, Telco.etc.)
