ONLINE EVENT: Key Factors for Managing 4G LTE and IMS Performance at Scale, Next Wednesday

Having trouble viewing this email? View online.

The use of multiple vendor technologies and an exponential rise in network elements creates new challenges in gaining end-to-end visibility of performance and availability in 4G LTE and IMS networks and services. Most significantly, the number of network elements and interfaces will increase by an order of magnitude, and be highly distributed given regional variations in subscriber numbers, traffic volumes, and cell-site loading.

These challenges of distribution and scale become even more pronounced because the LTE/IMS architecture collapses what were previously two separate networks (voice and data) into a single all-IP system, that includes five core, multi-vendor systems: radio access network, aggregation and backhaul, Ethernet packet core, MPLS transport/backbone, and the IMS core. This webinar will examine the challenges and effective approaches to achieve an end-to-end view of LTE and IMS network performance and service availability.

What attendees will learn:

  • Impact of increased bandwidth demands on communications providers
  • Importance of proactive network performance management to ensure the infrastructure meets current and future demands
  • Key attributes to look for when selecting a network performance management tool to address 4G/LTE, and IMS management challenges

Who should attend:

  • Senior Infrastructure Architects
  • Network Operations
  • Infrastructure Engineering
