IBM Launches Mainframe Class Servers for Mid-Size Companies

To further extend the power of mainframe computers to more organizations, especially companies and governments in emerging markets in Asia, Africa and elsewhere, technology giant IBM (News - Alert) has launched a new class of servers. IBM said that the new servers are a powerful version of the IBM zEnterprise system, which was introduced last July for the world's largest banks, insurance companies and governments.
