Just when it seemed like they had more than enough to keep them busy with all of the skirmishes involved in the patent law wars, as highlighted on The Bookseller.com, several US law firms have filed lawsuits against Apple and major US publishers alleging a "horizontal conspiracy" to fix and increase the price of e-books in the US. As reported, one firm has also now moved for the lawsuits to be heard under one judge either in California, where two of the suits have been registered, or Manhattan, where three have been filed.
