Eurocom Delivers Unprecedented 4TB Storage in Mobile Server

Deploying a Western Digital (News - Alert) WD Scorpio Blue 9.5 mm, 2.5-inch mobile solid-state drive (SSD) with 1 Terabyte (TB) capacity, upgradable notebooks and mobile server manufacturer Eurocom Corp. is offering up to 4 TB storage in RAID 0/1/5/10. It will be available in the Eurocom’s third generation Panther 3.0 mobile Server.

Mobile server is a new category of notebooks tailored for professional users who need access to powerful computing while traveling. RAID, for Redundant Array of Independent Disks, is a technology that provides increased data storage abilities through redundancy.  Multiple drives are arranged in units where data are distributed across the drives in different RAID levels. Different levels of RAID correspond with varying levels of performance and redundancy.
