According to the story, JiffPad lets users choose from previously provided medical diagrams or upload pictures of their own by using the app called “JiffTalk.” JiffTalk digitizes the communication between a doctor and patient, “crating a digital record of medical instruction that patients can then email home or share with their families,” Tsotsis writes. The iPad is now key to the medical field, according to Casey Tschida. In the same story, Tshida references Chilmark Research as estimating that 22 percent of United States doctors were using iPads by the end of 2010.
