Dear Indiana,
Click here to make a contribution to the fight against GM food |
The baingan bharta represents over 1 lakh people who have asked the Prime Minister to stop the Biotechnology Regulatory Authority of India (BRAI) bill and save our food from genetic modification. The bill will create a body which will allow genetically modified crops to enter our country.
This World Record is being attempted because of the support from lakhs of you. Hundreds of brinjals and other cooking ingredients will go into making this bharta, which will be distributed to orphanages and organizations working with the needy in Delhi. Financial support from individuals like you will help the work against GM food like making this bharta, the symbol of people's resistance to GM crops.
Make a contribution to help this work against GM food because the bharta represents the opposition to the BRAI bill.
