SEPTEMBER IS HERE! OYSTERS ARE BACK!

For many of us, the moment we loaded our kids on the school bus, or dropped them off at College, our Summer came to a crashing halt! While we are a little bummed to see summers end, we are excited about the many things to come this month as well as going forward into the fall season. Because we adhere to the old wives-tale, that you do not eat Oysters in months that don't end in R, we are thrilled it's Semptember. OYSTERS ARE BACK BABY!! More exciting news is that we will be keeping the $25 Tuesday, Wine Wednesday, and 3 for $30 Thursday, for the month of September. We also are looking forward to the Taste of St. Louis, Chef Battle Royale, competition September 23-25! AND coming up in October, we are SO looking forward to hosting a Duval-LeRoy Champagne tasting dinner!

Best Wishes,

Nicholas & Kristine Miller

September
"The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk, and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Chrysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze."

- John Updike, September
