| Friend -- This campaign is grounded in a simple idea: that anyone who works hard and plays by the rules should be able to make it in America. Since President Obama was elected, we've been working to make that happen. We've made a lot of progress together, from protecting families by reining in Wall Street to passing historic health reform that gives Americans more control over their care and reduces health care costs. If we're going to protect that progress -- and keep making more, like passing critical jobs legislation -- it's up to us to make sure we can continue fighting the big fights. That's why this Thursday, December 15th, we'll be holding a statewide conference call to talk about how we'll organize in Utah for 2012. If you've thought about stepping up to volunteer, this call will be a great chance to connect with your neighborhood team and learn about all the ways you can be a part of this campaign. As the new state director for Utah, I'm eager to join you on the call. Can you make it? Here are the details: What: Statewide conference call RSVP now to join: When: Thursday, December 15th 7:00 p.m. Mountain Time http://ut.barackobama.com/Utah-Conference-Call When you do, we'll send you the call-in number and passcode. And if you're near a computer, join us on Adobe Connect and catch the web portion of the call, too: http://ut.barackobama.com/Utah-Conference-Call-Adobe-Connect The President has asked Congress to pass a plan to put Americans back to work, but Republicans are blocking it. They think it's in their political interest to oppose whatever the President puts forward, even if that means they are putting American jobs at risk. But President Obama and the movement we're building have always been focused on doing the right thing for this country, even when it isn't easy. We refuse to let politics stand in the way of the progress we seek. That's one of the many reasons we're reaching out to folks in Utah now -- because the President needs our help organizing on the ground in our communities from now until next November. I hope you can join the call on Thursday and help build the campaign in our state: http://ut.barackobama.com/Utah-Conference-Call Thanks, Igor Igor Limansky Utah State Director Obama for America |
