| After weeks of sleepy, sloppy trading ranges, the market may...I say “MAY”…be coming back to life. The S&P managed a decent 13-point range today however; the majority of the day was in a scant 5 handle range. During the day I decided to go on a sort of “cyber-fact finding” mission. I wanted to learn a little more about Ben Bernanke. Other than wreaking havoc on the global economy and bailing out the banks, I wanted to find out what makes Ben Bernanke tick. Believe it or not, during the summers between his semesters at Harvard, Helicopter Ben worked at a Mexican-themed roadside attraction. It featured an amusement park and a mascot named Pedro. That’s right; Ben wore a poncho and served up big plates of nachos to tourists. He claimed in a 60-minutes interview that this experience taught him “how to work hard.” I don’t know why having Ben Bernanke working at an amusement park doesn’t surprise me in the least. It seems so similar to his current job. Trade well and follow the trend, not the so-called “experts.” Behold the age of infinite moral hazard! On April 2nd, 2009 CONgress forced FASB to suspend rule 157 in favor of deceitful accounting for the TBTF banksters.
