McGruff's Favorite App: iWitness
Surprisingly not an app that lets you watch choice scenes from that Amish Harrison Ford thriller, iWitness actually helps protect you from potential danger. For example, if you feel like murdery Danny Glover might be walking up behind you, tap the screen once to start recording video, audio, and GPS coordinates. Then, when you know he is, hit the screen again to trigger a 911 call, send an SMS/email message to six contacts, and set off a loud siren. Or simply trick the one dude he's with to go into the corn silo, get his shotgun, and waste Glover yourself.

It's Never Sunny In Seattle: HandsIn Tee
Since it's Always Sunny in Seattle (ED NOTE: Intense sarcasm!), local designer HandsIn created this spoof of the shirt Mac wears on the show, except in this case it's Seattle written to look like the smoking pistol, despite the fact that Pete Maravich was way more into chaw.

Drop $15 and this downtown resto will give you serious noshes, a swag bag, and tastes of sweet South Seattle-brewed suds ranging from Kolsch-style, ginger-hinted, Freya's Gold ale, to the orange-spiced Odin's Pearl wheat, to a juniper-infused ruby ale called Odin's Gift, as apparently those swag bags didn't cut it.

You Better Work: Carhartt Store Opens
409 Pike St; Downtown
Naughty by Nature's second favorite thing to put their anatomy inside (after those weird beanies that tie on top your head, of course), Carhartt is marking the opening of this logging-camp-inspired shop with an appearance by Edgar Martinez, a Drywall/Sledgehammer knock-down ceremony, and a chance to turn "worn and torn" gear into new duds via a "worst jacket" contest.
If you'd rather not go outside... you, um, probably don't need a jacket, but you can still score one online, here
