There are all types of stock market indicators and many of them are based upon seasonality or esoteric ideas such as the current length of women's skirts. (Hint: The shorter, the better.)

Alas, this year's followers are treating it with some trepidation, and rightfully so. Still, we proffer that while the Super Bowl Indicator is telling us that we should probably expect a down year for the market, we may not be in as bad a shape as the doomsayers might believe.
