Help Save Utah's Greater Canyonlands

Dear Center Supporter, When President Obama designated California's San Gabriel Mountains National Monument earlier this month, he vowed that he was "not finished" protecting our nation's public lands. We need your help to make sure he fulfills that promise by designating the Greater Canyonlands National Monument. These stunning lands around Utah's Canyonlands National Park include red-rock mountains, slot canyons, ancient cultural sites and habitat for endangered species like yellow-billed cuckoos. These lands would have been protected decades ago if not for political pressure from special interests. Now threats from oil, gas and tar sands development are mounting --  and the window is closing to protect some of America's last, best wild country.
