First Calf of 2015: Rainbow, one of our first generation Bobolink Grazers, gave us our first calf of the season: Aurora, a fat and bouncy heifer, arrived on Monday morning--here she is, a few minutes old, getting cleaned up by mama: So, winter vacation is over! Stella appears ready to go next, and we soon expect it to be raining calves for weeks on end. Bobolink's Tribute to Joan Rivers We understand that the bylaws of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences precluded Joan Rivers being remembered at this year's Academy Awards, since that honor is apparently reserved for voting members only. So, once again, it falls to the cheesemakers to make things right! So, we are proud to offer, at our farm store only, our own tribute: At the farm store only! Jonathan's Liver Pate Ready to eat, spread it on bread and enjoy! Bobolink's Music Festival--save these dates: The Blacktails at our October 2014 show Music on the lawn, great food from the farm, BYOB or grab a growler from the nearby Ship Inn.  $20 in advance, kids under 10 are free! May 31st -The BlackTails - Reserve here. We'll be taking reservations for these later shows by next week:  June 21 - Meghan Carey August 23 - Some Like It Hot Club October 4 - The Fat Daddies, featuring Mark Drabich of Metropolitan Seafood We'll be grilling Bobolink Burgers, KimCheeSteaks, and other treats from our farm and the farms of our friends.  Sorry, no dogs please.
