Behmen von Bleibruck vs. Gallain: An Unlikely Match-Up from Medieval Collectibles

Unlikely Match-Up:
Behmen von Bleibruck vs. Gallain

Nic Cage is known for many things in the world of film, especially for roles which require a certain amount of presentation. Today's match-up pits two of his more recent roles against each other, both medieval crusaders with a lot in common. Behmen, the protagonist from the film Season of the Witch, is a Teutonic knight who deserted the Crusades in favor of peaceful travel, disgusted with the slaughter and bloodshed he'd witnessed. With a strong sense of chivalry and an even stronger sense of what constitutes fairness, Behmen is a capable warrior who wields a cruciform sword. He can take down supernatural threats as well as corporeal ones, and doesn't seem to show much fear in the face of either. This jaded soldier, weary of war, is loath to pick a fight with anyone, but somehow, the fight seems to find him every time. And if anyone could provoke Behmen to fight, it might just be Gallain, a fractious Templar crusader-turned-bandit from the film Outcast. Gallain, a well-known warrior from the Crusades, abandoned his familiar homeland for China, where he retired to a life of dubious morality. His cynicism brought about by his experiences in war make Gallain reluctant to become involved in any conflict bigger than a simple street fight, though the chip on his shoulder prompts him to fight well if it comes down to it. Gallain carries a Chinese dao sword and in so using it, has proven himself capable of mastering multiple styles of fighting. Though war is something he strives to avoid, he does not retreat from battle, even when grossly outnumbered. Both of these obstinate ex-Crusaders have a lot in common, and would certainly give one other a run for their money if they were to fight. If they came up against each other, who would win, Behmen von Bleibruck, or Gallain?  Vote Now
