Mike Huckabee suggests punishing crime with slavery

In case you thought Mike Huckabee couldn't get any more offensive, today he suggested that to improve the U.S. criminal justice system, we should sell people into slavery for stealing. A Donald Trump rally turned violent, with Trump supporters shouting at and spitting on immigrant activists. And to wrap up a great day in American politics, 'moderate' Republican presidential candidate John Kasich released his tax and spending plan, which would gut poverty programs.
