Yesterday, Washington Post reporter David Fahrenthold tracked down the six-foot-tall portrait of himself that Donald Trump bought using $20,000 from the Donald J. Trump Foundation. No confirmation yet on whether it was done by the same artist behind the Tom Brady portrait. And on a more serious note, news continues to come out about Trump's long history of using legally-dubious methods and the help of other people's money to avoid paying taxes. And so, this morning Trump took to Twitter to again claim the election is "rigged." That brings us to day 3 of Trump's #99problems. Here are 20 real problems Donald Trump should consider when worrying about the election. 41. He asked why we have nuclear weapons if we don't use them. 42. He said "you can't get hurt with extreme weather." But extreme weather is costing the U.S. billions of dollars. 43. He thinks a billion-dollar loss that helped him avoid paying taxes for two decades makes him "smart." 44. He has called President Obama the founder of the ISIS. 45. He has called Hillary Clinton the founder of the ISIS. 46.His plan to ensure equal pay is that women should do as good a job as men. 47. He said he hoped his daughter would "find another career" if she were sexually harassed at work. 48. More than 140 GOP national security experts have publicly opposed him, saying he is unfit to be commander in chief. 49. His company was sued by the U.S. Justice Department for housing discrimination against African Americans. 50. He picked a fight with a gold star family. 51. He would deport all unauthorized workers in the United States, costing the top 12 industries more than $434 billion annually. 52. He supports unconstitutional and discriminatory stop-and-frisk laws. 53. Paying for his tax plan could lead to huge cuts in Social Security and Medicare. 54. He wants to eliminate the EPA. 55. His sketchy foreign business interests could put American national security at risk. 56. He vowed to renegotiate the historic Paris climate deal. 57. He said teachers are "very stupid." 58. His running mate Mike Pence wants to redefine rape as "forcible" rape to limit access to abortion. 59. He refused to condemn former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke. 60. Yesterday, around 370 economists, including Nobel laureates like Ken Arrow, signed a letter recommending that voters don't vote for Trump. The economists are "united in opposition" due to Trump's reckless economic policies, false claims about the economy, and his overall misleading of voters. Read the letter here. Pipelines. They've got lots of people talking lately. Yesterday-for the second time in two months-a major fuel pipeline in Alabama exploded, killing one worker and injuring five. The shutdown of the pipeline, which delivers about a third of the gasoline used on the East Coast, could result in higher prices at the pump, not to mention costly environmental damages. The incident in Alabama also sheds light on the growing concerns people have with pipelines – like the one people are protesting in North Dakota. 6 DAYS Bonus!
