Inside a nondescript warehouse in Russia, 20 bodies, 30 heads, six dogs, three cats, a hummingbird and a chinchilla are frozen. They're awaiting the time when we achieve singularity and can be brought back to life. This is not a work of science fiction.

Iran and Iraq call Saudi Arabia's bluff in the OPEC poker game. For decades, Saudi Arabia has had its way at OPEC. All of a sudden the position has turned. As OPEC ministers gather for a meeting Wednesday, Saudi Arabia is trying to reassert its authority by hinting it's prepared to walk away from the negotiations. Genuine warning or bluff, Tehran and Baghdad may be willing to take the risk.

Donald Trump will be the first president of our post-literate age, Joe Weisenthal writes for Bloomberg View. "...As information gets more social–taking on the immediate, short-form characteristics of Facebook and Twitter–it acquires more qualities of the oral world. And that lends itself particularly well to politicians who think and communicate like Donald Trump."

McDonald's continues to swap frozen patties for fresh beef, making another break with decades of fast-food practices in a bid to revitalize the chain. Fresh beef is now used in some sandwiches in more than 75 restaurants in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area, extending trials that began in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
