It's Trump's first day as president. Let's get to work.

Thanks to your support, ThinkProgress has raised more than $250,000. Those funds will go directly to supporting our journalism and to hiring additional reporters to continue our work keeping President Donald Trump and his administration accountable.

On inauguration day, we reported that he'd violated his oath to the Constitution immediately upon taking office. We fact-checked his inaugural address, and found he paraded out the same lies he has been touting in his stump speeches: that America is in shambles and he alone can fix it. His first-day policy priorities unfolded quickly: we reported that he rolled back protections for low-income home buyers, wiped the White House website clean of any mention of climate change, and signaled a revival of restrictive anti-abortion policies.

We have begun the work of holding this administration to the 663 promises we documented Trump making in his run for the White House. Today is day one as president, and we've built a comprehensive list of the achievements he's told the American people they can expect.

To continue our accountability work, ThinkProgress needs your support now more than ever. If you haven't supported our campaign, there's still room to pitch in and show solidarity with progressive values and the work of journalists.
