We'd like to mix it up a bit this month and share an Instant Pot recipe with you... 5-Ingredient Chili.
This is a great recipe to try if you just got an Instant Pot and aren't sure what to do with it. The directions include the settings for your pressure cooker, so no need for any guess work. Instant Pot 5-Ingredient Chili
1 lb ground beef 1 small white onion 2 - 15 oz. cans red kidney beans 2 - 15 oz. cans tomato & green chiles 2 Tbsp chili powder Salt and pepper 1/2 cup shredded cheese 1 cup hot water Side: salad
Dice the onion. Open and drain the 2 cans of red kidney beans. Open 2 cans diced tomatoes with green chiles.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and some salt and pepper. Drain and add the browned ground beef to the pressure cooker insert.
Mix in the diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained red kidney beans, chili powder and hot water into the electric pressure cooker insert.
Steam valve: Sealing. Pressure Cook: Manual/High for 15 minutes. Release: Natural or Quick.
Prepare the salad.
Serve Instant Pot 5-Ingredient Chili with shredded cheese garnish and salad.
