Remember When You Got a Bush Check in 2001?

It was 2001.

The White House held a formal ceremony in the East Room.

A Marine band played "Hail to the Chief."

And George W. Bush won his first major victory as president.

After signing the biggest tax cut since Reagan... $300 to $600 checks started going out to taxpaying Americans all over the country.

Now something somewhat similar is happening again.

In a surprise move before the 2016 tax year... Congress passed a law - H.R. 2029 - that gives taxpayers across the country the chance to collect sizable payouts.

The New York Times confirms it adds up to "a little something for nearly everyone."

"It ensures families across the country will keep more of their hard-earned dollars," says Dave Reichert, a representative out of Washington state who voted for the measure.

But for this year, it's only available from January 1 to April 17.

But don't wait on this... the more prepared you are, the more you could potentially collect.

Sincerely,

Alexander

P.S. How much you get depends on how much you spent in 2016. So if you had any big purchases (car, furniture, a big vacation, wedding, etc.) you won't want to miss this.
