The US Tennis Association's new "Get Out and Play" campaign from its in-house unit and a team of freelancers features a 30-second spot that shows all the activities people have resorted to during quarantine and urges viewers to get out of the house and embrace tennis as the social distancing answer to sport. The push is running across social, radio and digital, with TV spots added next month, and will feature appearances from former tennis pros Patrick McEnroe and Chris Evert on national talk shows.

Odysseus Arms urges $1 donations to pandemic relief

Nonprofits Together Rising and 1Dollar1Love partnered on a campaign from Odysseus Arms that's urging social users to donate $1 to pandemic relief efforts and post artwork for face masks on social media using #1dollar1love. Mask artwork from creators will run across 1Dollar1Love's social channels, and Together Rising's Glennon Doyle says, "Every penny Together Rising receives from this campaign will be deployed to support hundreds of individuals and families with urgent needs ... due to the devastation caused by the COVID-19 crisis."

Pinterest is considering jumping on the stories bandwagon with a renewed Story Pins test, which enables select US creators to feature clickable content designed to spark sharing such as step-by-step recipes or craft projects, writes Sarah Perez. Measurement Matters
A Bloomreach study, conducted by Forrester Consulting, shows that 46% of businesses selling online have experienced growth during the coronavirus pandemic, and many plan to increase spending on websites (64%), their mobile app (58%), social media (52%) and third-party marketplaces (46%). The State of Commerce Experience report predicts the largest investments will go toward commerce technology and tools and third-party services.
