Bill Nye explains Chipotle's "Real Foodprint" to himself

Chipotle, with Day One Agency and RQ, teamed with Bill Nye the Science Guy to promote its in-app and digital "Real Foodprint" tracker with a TikTok video that's so far attracted 3.3 million views and shows Nye ordering a meal from himself and learning about its environmental impact at one of the brand's restaurants. An additional 30-second spot is running on Chipotle's website, across its social channels and on platforms including Teads and YouTube.

Forrester predicts what's coming in 2021

Forrester released two reports on the future of marketing, which predict a rise in the use of virtual influencers as brands look to "control their messaging and go viral simultaneously," an increase in the use of machine learning by agencies and 10% growth for agencies that broaden their offerings to the wider C-suite beyond chief marketing officers. The reports also project 17,000 layoffs at agencies in 2021, adding to the 35,000 job losses from this year.

Facebook analysis of nearly 2,500 campaigns using its Brand Lift methodology revealed that generating more impressions results in improved "action intent and ad recall rates," but those results diminish following five or six impressions, including ads with strong creative elements. Analysis also found creative quality is important, but frequency needs to be another consideration.
