Xbox is working with the CDC to tackle COVID-19 vaccine disinformation and encourage gamers to get vaccinated via its Twitter account, which has 16.5 million followers. "The power of play makes us heroes in new worlds every day. You can be a hero in real life too by getting vaccinated against COVID-19," reads one of the tweets.

TikTok gives partners more creator insights via new API

TikTok is improving its Creator Marketplace this month with an API that marketing partners can use to integrate creator listings into their in-house systems and access platform first-party demographics, growth trends and real-time campaign reporting. Initial launch partners include database platform Captiv8 and influencer marketing firm Influential.

Facebook detected a measurement bug for iPhone 12 iOS 14 users that resulted in undercounting three types of app install campaigns via SKAdNetwork between February and August. Facebook says it has fixed the bug that may have affected an estimated 10% of total SKAdNetwork conversions and alerted advertisers that may have been affected.
