A plan to practice more. A plan to learn more tunes. A plan to finally get out to that jam session. A plan to tackle your musical weaknesses.  But then you burn out before the month is over. And because you failed you feel more defeated and de-motivated than ever.  I'm here to tell you there is a better way. A way that will guarantee you don't fail. A way that will have you looking back in December of 2023, in awe with how much you have improved your jazz playing.  Would you want that? How would you feel if that could become a reality for you?  Here's the key reasons people quit their musical resolutions:   They aren't realistic. They commit to practice more than they can afford, they say they'll learn way more tunes than they can possibly learn.   They try to go it alone, they don't invest in help, or tools they need to make things easy. They are accidentally setting themselves up to lose before they've even started. Here's what I want you to do instead:   Only set out to practice with as much time as you have NOW to practice. In other words don't make more time to practice.
