✋Sick and tired of your jazz playing not improving?

Hey Indiana,

Raise your ✋ if you're sick and tired of any of these:

  • Hating your jazz solos (they just don't sound authentic)

  • Feeling scared and intimidated to play at jazz jam sessions

  • Believing you are "not talented enough" to play jazz well

  • Believing you can't improve with only a little practice time

  • Feeling unsure of what to practice to improve quickly

  • Feeling overwhelmed by how much there is to learn

  • Stuck on a musical plateau and not improving

Well let me be the first to tell you, at different points in my musical journey I've raised my ✋ to every one of these.

So it's okay if that's where you find yourself, it's completely normal.

But eventually I got tired of feeling disappointed with my jazz playing, and I decided to make a change.

So here's the important question I want to ask you:

Is the year 2023 going to be the same story told over again?

Are you going to have to raise your ✋ to one of these again when I send this email to you next year?

What if I told you that by next year this time, you could be playing jazz solos, comping, walking bass lines, and playing jazz standards like you never dreamed you could?

How would you feel if that was your reality?

Imagine walking up to a public jam session with confidence, playing an amazing solo, and everyone afterwards was coming up to you saying:

"Wow! You are an amazing player, want to come play at my Tuesday night gig?"

I bet you couldn't put a price on that feeling.

I know this because I've had musical moments where I surpassed what I thought was possible for me.

Where I woke up when the song was over as if I was in a dream, and couldn't go to sleep that night because I was so excited about how well I played.

And you might be thinking:

I'd probably have to practice for hours every day to accomplish that.

Think again!

What if I told you, with just one simple action each month you could be well on your way to unlocking your musical potential?

That if you only accomplished ONE thing each month, that by this time next year your jazz playing would be on a different level?

Wouldn't that make things so much less overwhelming and achievable?

I bet it would.

And that ONE thing is to learn a jazz standard each month.

This is the most high leverage activity you can do to improve your jazz playing consistently over time.

This is the MAIN THING we do in our Learn Jazz Standard Inner Circle membership, which you can now try out for just $1.

This is how we learn a new jazz standard each month:

  • Learn the melody and the chords

  • Work on technical exercises to help you improvise over the jazz standard

  • We learn a jazz solo so you can learn authentic jazz language

  • We practice improvising and share our progress with the community

And then we move on to the next one!

It becomes a compounding effect where each new song helps us play the next one better, and the next one better, and the next one better, and so on.

So please raise your ✋ if you want to start making massive improvements in your jazz playing in 2023!

The Inner Circle will help make things easy, and for the next 5 days only, it's practically risk free (only $1 to try it out).

Hope to see you on the inside!
