| | 🚨 A Lunar New Year celebration turned into tragedy over the weekend when a gunman allegedly shot 20 people, 10 fatally, at a dance studio in the Los Angeles suburb of Monterey Park. Hours later, the suspected gunman, Huu Can Tran, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a cargo van, law enforcement officials told ABC News. ⚕️ On Sunday -- the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court's 1973 decision in Roe v. Wade -- marches took place across the country amid uncertainty about the current state of reproductive rights. In a speech in Florida, Vice President Kamala Harris announced details of a new presidential memo ordering government health and judicial leaders to explore ways to make it easier for patients, providers and pharmacies to access, prescribe and provide abortion medication. 👑 King Charles III's coronation will be a three-day celebration in May, Buckingham Palace announced over the weekend. In addition to the coronation at Westminster Abbey, the celebration will include a public concert at Windsor Castle. It is not yet known whether Charles's youngest son, Prince Harry, who just released his bombshell memoir, and his wife Duchess Meghan will attend with the rest of the royal family. 🌹 At her father's Graceland estate in Tennessee Sunday morning, Lisa Marie Presley, who died at age 54 on Jan. 12, was remembered by friends and family members. Singer Alanis Morissette, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and Sarah Ferguson were among those who remembered Presley, a mother of four. | |
