Simon Case, the cabinet secretary, submitted written evidence to a committee due grill Mr Johnson later on whether he misled MPs over the Partygate scandal. It comes as the Privileges committee published a cache of evidence ahead of Mr Johnson's televised questioning that could determine his political future.   More details here...
