Check it out to learn more about your favorite Missouri wine, find wine tips, recipes, history and more at www.missouriwine.org. | AgriSafe to Offer Virtual QPR Training Farmers and farm families have experienced increasing pressure resulting in high levels of stress, mental health issues, and suicide. The Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) training teaches laypeople and professionals to recognize and respond to mental health crises. QPR for Farmers and Farm Families is specially tailored to the agricultural community. There are two virtual QPR sessions approaching on May 25 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. and June 21 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. In this 1.5 hour QPR training, you will explore: - How the unique challenges farmers face can lead to stress, depression, and suicide.
- Examples of how to implement each QPR component.
- Strategies for helping someone at risk of suicide.
To attend this training, participants must be 18 years of age or older. Registration spots are limited, so please only register if you can attend the event.
