| Dear Liberty Through Wealth Reader, I read a shocking article in The Wall Street Journal two days ago, titled "Schools are Ditching Homework, Deadlines in Favor of 'Equitable Grading.'" It's another major step back for America. Equitable grading basically seeks to make everything easier so that everyone gets an A… whether they work for it or not. As The Wall Street Journal points out, "homework is typically played down, and students are given multiple opportunities to complete tests and assignments." In other words, the bar has been lowered. The results of the program are laid out by one straight-A student, who says "even classmates in Honors and Advanced Placement classes are prone to skip class now unless there is an exam." And here's the truly bad part… these kids aren't being prepared for real life. "If you go to a job in real life, you can't pick and choose what tasks you want to do and only do the quote big ones," said one high-school English teacher. The truth is… the problems with our education system are now infecting the entire economy. Chief Investment Strategist Alexander Green says America is shifting to a new form of "Woke Capitalism" that pushes back against hard work and focuses on feelings instead. Our universities are pumping out social justice warriors… but certainly not ambitious hard-workers. And it's hurting stocks across the board. (See which stocks you should sell right away here.)
