| There is a saying in Japanese Tea Ceremony: Ichi go ichi e which means each moment only occurs once, and I wanted to take this moment to tell you how precious you are to me and how meaningful it is that I get to nurture and cherish you through making you teas for the moments in your life that only occur once. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and sometimes we can feel very isolated and alone, and like we need a mothering energy of love and connection but we don't know where to go for it or where to reach for it. I want you to know you are not alone, and that our tea communitea is a real place of connection, a real place of caring and that I've got your heart in mind in all I do everyday. Tea ceremony is about thoughtfully preparing tea which focuses the mind in order to calm it. When we make tea for another person, we are showing them that they matter and that you care for them. Honoring someone with a lovingly made cup of tea can put you and the other person into a state of communion that is intimate and genuine. You can do this anytime you feel like you need love and support—giving what you need has a magic to it in that it brings you what you need in the act of giving it. As this day signifies the honoring of the mothers who birthed us and the mothers we are through either having a family or choosing to nurture others, I want you to know that mothering your own heart and mind is no different—caring for yourself through honoring yourself with a lovingly made cup of tea and a kind word or two to yourself is a precious ceremony that honors each moment that will only occur once (like this moment now). Remember as this moment only occurs once, the more you make it about dedicating yourself to wellness and thoughtfulness, you can achieve a state of tender wellness. Cherishing your time nurtures your soul. Cherishing another person through tea, nurtures their soul. It's a gift that goes beyond buying something for someone, it is an act of service that brings us heart to heart. And know I'm always here, I do read every email you send me, and we do care deeply for you—we are not here for the sake of selling, we are really here, and I am dedicated to truly serving you as this moment in time for me and for you will only occur this once. With Love & Reverence, Mama Z :) | | | | | | | | No longer want to receive these emails? Unsubscribe.Magic Hour 928 East Ojai Ave Ojai, California 93023 | | | | | | |
